Es ist z. Zt. üblich laufend anfallendes Altpapier wie Zeitungen, Magazine, Schreibpapier etc. in Kartons oder ähnlichen Behältern zu sammeln. Hierfür muß der Stapel aus dem Sammelbehälter genommen werden. Ohne Vorrichtung ist hierbei das Bündeln nur sehr schwierig zu bewerkstelligen, da die Papiere sehr zum Verrutschen neigen und ein gleichzeitiges Zusammenhalten und Kleben/Binden des Stabeis fast unmöglich ist. Lediglich zur zusatzlichen Sicherung in Längsrichtung ist es sinnvoll anschließend noch außerhalb der Box den Stapel längs zu binden/kleben, was aber auch für ungeübte Hände kein Problem ist.
