Protective cover for bodywork parts on automobiles

For about three decades, protective covers have been used when working on automobiles to prevent damage to the paintwork caused by buttons etc. on the mechanic's clothing and by dirt.

These so-called protective covers are held in place by magnets, clamps, loops, fasteners, straps or Velcro fasteners.

The new thing is that it is easy and problem-free to use because the installer only has to hook the protective cover into place, whereas the covers mentioned above require extra work to attach.

When magnets or magnetic strips are incorporated into protective covers, it has happened that after repeated use the material that covers the magnets is penetrated or the magnets attract iron filings, causing damage to the paintwork.

Through our protective cover with integrated shape profile

The protective cover with integrated molded profiles allows

use several types of cars. This avoids having to make and use a special cover for each type of car.

The form profiles are manufactured by us and are not available commercially.

XO The design of the shaped profiles is shown and explained in the figures and the attached claims.

This design, in particular the extension of the preferably curved one leg of the Fom profile
