Beim Krafttraining in Fitness-Studios werden entweder manuell oder über mechanische Vorrichtungen Gewichte bewegt und darüber ein gewisser Trainingseffekt erzielt. Die Vorgaben des Trainers bezüglich Gewicht und Anzahl der Übungen, sowie die tatsächlich absolvierten Übungen werden zumeist vom Benutzer während dem Training in Listen eingetragen. Dieses Verfahren ist umständlich und bezüglich der Leistungsauswertung unbefriedigend. Bisher gab es jedoch keine mechanischen oder elektronischen Einrichtungen, um die erbrachte Leistung hinreichend zu bestimmen und aufzuzeichnen.During strength training in fitness studios, weights are moved either manually or using mechanical devices, thereby achieving a certain training effect.
