Description

Sandfang, 4. RührbÜtte, 5. Knotenfänger, 6. Papierbahn (Wasserzeichenwalze usw.), 7. Gautschpresse, 8. Naßpresse, g. Trockenpartie, io. #Glättwerk und i i. Rollstuhl.Process for the production of security, bank note and check paper All currently known security measures against counterfeit bank notes only permit a visual check of the authenticity, which takes a disproportionately long time and is imperfect. The banknote paper described below, called paramagnetic paper for short, enables the banknotes to be mechanically checked for authenticity in a matter of seconds. Production of paramagnetic paper z # After passing through the sand fan, a certain amount of pulverized magnetite (Eisenoxvduloxvid Fe.04) or very fine 1) 11 verized iron (Fe) is added to the paper pulp. Because of the low coercive force, soft Swedish charcoal iron is particularly suitable for this. But there are also other paramagnetic powders, e.g. B. Ni or Mn can be used. Before the paper pulp enters the knot catcher, a second mixer must be switched on. In the case of a Fourdrinier paper machine, the sequence would therefore be as follows: i. Holländer, 2. Stirrer, 3. Sand trap, 4. RührbÜtte, 5. Knot catcher, 6. Paper web (watermark roller, etc.), 7. Couch press, 8. Wet press, g. Dryer section, ok # Calender and i i. Wheelchair.

Paper produced in this manner is then evenly 213 b with paramagnetic powder passes through without losing its suitability for banknote production. ' Experience has shown that the amount of powder to be added is dosed. A partially desired infiltration with paramagnetic powder only at certain points of the paper (point infiltration) can be done by means of magnetic rollers etc. on the I Papi & bafin. The paper produced in this way is invisible to the eye, partially or entirely paramagnetic and reacts to every magnet. The banknotes are printed in the usual way.

New properties of such banknotes Even the most successful counterfeit can be identified immediately by looking at the. Banknote holding an ordinary magnet. If the bank note sticks to the magnet or (with / low powder dosage) the bank note lifts at least slightly, then # the # same is genuine. Notes not made with this type of paper do not react to a magnet, so they are counterfeit. Anyone can carry a small magnet for a few pennies with them and. thus protect yourself absolutely securely against the acceptance of counterfeit banknotes. Infiltrating with paramagnetic powder is not feasible on hand or handmade paper. However, a paper machine is not easily available to counterfeiters. In financial institutions, etc., it would be useful to attach horizontal or similar number and advertising plates with built-in magnets.

Man verwendet dort sogenannte tönende Schecks:. Use of the-. Paramagnetic Paper for Making Checks Paramagnetic paper can advantageously be used for making checks. The USA has recently been breaking new ground. So-called sounding checks are used there: Like the sound film, photographed vibrations, which are converted by light into electricity and then in turn, sounds, are invisible and cannot be reproduced on the check and thus enable automatic control. The control apparatus required for this, equipped with selenium and electron tubes, costs a fortune. Such checks are also expensive and complicated to produce. The authenticity check takes a long time. For security reasons, this cumbersome procedure is still widespread. By using paramagnetic paper in different designs, the same security would be cheap, given an easy, quick and mechanical control with an almost free control device for everyone.
