Process for the production of storable vitamin-containing fodder lime preparations The subject of patent 865 5167 is a method for the production of storable vitamin-containing fodder lime preparations, which essentially consists in that the powdery mineral raw materials of the feed are combined with such granules by loose mixture, which in itself is known are obtained by loading neutral, fine-grained, porous substances with solutions of vitamins, in particular oil solutions of vitamin D, and coating with gelatin or another water-soluble colloid. Granulates of this type prove to be very resistant to oxidative or other chemical influences which the intended use can bring with them. However, it has proven to be desirable to protect the granules in fodder kall preparations, which are often stored under unfavorable conditions on farms, to an increased extent against the influx of moisture. Namely, since the fine grains of the vitamin preparation are coated with a water-soluble colloid layer, it may happen that these colloid layer starts to swell, particularly when the feed is subjected to during transportation or in case of incorrect mounting of the action of moisture, WO through the insulation of the in the vitamins contained in the granules can suffer. The purpose of the invention is to protect the vitamins in fodder kall preparations of the type mentioned from the damaging effects of moisture. Essentially, the invention consists in the fact that the fine vitamin granules are advantageously stirred with a digestible hard fat at low heating until the individual grains of the granules are evenly coated with a fat layer. As digestible hard fats for carrying out the method according to the invention are in particular into consideration: cocoa butter, animal hard fats or hardened trane.
For the production of vitamin-rich tablets and similar pharmaceutical forms,
which could also contain calcium salts, one already has fats, such as cocoa butter,
used, but in a different way than according to the invention by using the known method
the vitamins dissolved in the melted fat, the separately granulated calcium salts
mixed with the vitamin-containing cocoa butter or the like in an inert atmosphere
and pressed into a solid mass in tablets or wafers. This
Process is for the production of Ftitterkal; I-, prep, araten because of the large
excess of mineral substances not applicable; in addition, through the immediate
Dissolve the well-known, temperature-sensitive vitamins in melted fat
Sensitively impaired vitamin effect. The method of the invention, however, brings
the vitamins, which in this case are absorbed by adsorbents and carried by a
Coating of gelatin or the like. Colloids are already protected, not in immediate
Contact with melted fat; it differs from the familiar proposal
mainly due to the formation of two layers on those with powdered calcium salts
loosely united granules, of which only the outer layer is made of hard fat
consists. Both layers work together to produce one excellent result
Can also be stored under unfavorable conditions, especially when moist
lead to durable food chalk preparations. According to the method according to the invention
The preparations obtained are also resistant to attack by molds and bacteria
protected.
The Arheitsmethode, according to which the vitamin granules with an even
Fat layer is coated without the individual particles sticking together
For example, the following: The vitamin-rich and with a coating of colloids
#granulate is provided with the same amount of hard fat, -, velches in pieces of
Walnut size is cut, placed in a cauldron and placed in a water bath under constant
Stir gently and warm until all the fat is used up. Then until
moved on for complete information. The granules treated in this way
is not wetted by the water and remains, even when mixed with moist substances,
perfectly stable. In addition, the fat layer provides protection against oxidative effects
Influences of atmospheric oxygen or acquired substances as well as protection against
other chemical damage to the preparation intensified.
The method according to the invention is particularly suitable for manufacture
of feed lime preparations that contain oil-soluble D vitamins, however, can be whole
are generally also used for other vitamin-containing feed preparations,
which, for example, using water-soluble vitamins, in particular the C vitamin,
getting produced.
