Bei diesen Reflexkameras kann man das undurchsichtige Fotoelement hei (Bestimmung der Belichtungszeit) vor oder hinter der Mattscheibe einschalten. Während der Messung ist der Film 8 durch den Schlitzverschluß 7 verdeckt: Nach der Belichtungszeitbestimmung wird das Fotoelement 9 wieder ausgeschaltet. Dabei geht .das Dachkantprisma 4 automatisch wieder in seine Ausgangslage zurück.
