The invention relates to the support of free-standing antenna masts, which are used in particular for the direct emission of electrical waves. - With these self-oscillating masts, sharp projections, a large base area and all metal parts of guy ropes, support struts, etc. lying in the radiation field, as they were previously necessary to achieve sufficient stability, should be avoided if possible. With this in mind, slim tubular masts have already been placed on a foot insulator that is firmly attached to the foundation. This solution, which is very good in itself, has only the disadvantage that the mast height is limited, since the brittle porcelain insulator is subject to bending stress. For taller masts it is also proposed to place the mast foot between a number of insulators arranged in a star shape in different horizontal planes . clamp, which are only subjected to pressure and are therefore able to transmit considerably greater forces.
verbundenen I.,eistungsverluste.
In order now also observed at: this construction still in the S trahlungsfeId, to bring the mast lying counter-bearing for the insulators in PROCEED all, of these parts is a single S tützsäule arranged and these, together with the insulators in the interior of the hollow antenna mast laid according to the invention in place. This eliminates all metal parts previously in the electrical field and the associated power losses. A further advantage of the subject invention is that the larger in the same manner as the two last-mentioned type in different (horizontal planes radially arranged insulator groups distances can be obtained from each other and 4, ementsprechend smaller loads and smaller dimensions. Also, the small, Ge against the ground Correct cross-sectional area of the mast under high voltage - it is favorable for the efficiency.
veranschaulicht. In the drawing, the invention is based on three working examples
illustrated.
The tubular mast A , used directly as a transmitting antenna, is held in an upright position by the support column C anchored in the concrete base B. For the electrical separation of the mast A. from the support column C , the insulator stars DI and D2 are placed around the latter at different heights. A vertically standing insulator D3 Transmits the mast weight by the support column C on -the basis B. This insulator D3 can be eliminated if, as Abb.:2 shows the star-shaped wound around the support column C insulators EI and E2 not horizontal, but against the Mast axis are inclined so that they transfer both the horizontal and the vertical forces uuf the support column C. This is also possible if, as shown in FIG. 3, the insulators F 'and F2 arranged in two rows are designed to be wedge-shaped. The attachment according to Fig. 2 and 3 is also beneficial in that the tubular mast A is always automatically clamped to the support column C by its own weight. Further, very considerable advantages of all three designs result from the fact that the insulators are always protected from moisture and therefore retain their full insulating capacity even when it rains. For this reason and also because only compressive forces have to be transmitted, the isolators can be chosen to be significantly smaller than with all older designs. This also reduces the manufacturing costs of antenna masts that can be made in all sizes. The spacing of the insulator stars to one another and to the point of application of the wind forces, at the discretion of the designer, allows the compressive forces occurring in the insulators to be varied within wide limits. Finally, the edgeless surface of the masts, its small footprint and the lack of results allerstörenden metal parts in the S trahlungsfeld an almost ideal, all other systems superior Mast training. Of course, without affecting the essence of the invention, the support column C , which is electrically influenced by the induction effect, can also be separated from the foundation by means of insulators.
