Description:

The invention, of which one drawing is attached, is intended to facilitate the stable installation of cassettes delivered flat. The cassettes currently available on the market are either in finished form (plastic cassettes from the Mappei company, for example) or are equipped with folding bases that automatically unfold when installed (so-called "automatic bases") or with various plug-in mechanisms with and without double self-adhesive strips.

All cassettes on offer have significant disadvantages: adhesive joints loose and/or warp over time and can only be used once. Plug-in mechanisms and automatic bases generally have a poor stability because their plug-in mechanisms mean they have an uneven surface. Automatic bases, on the other hand, tear easily and can easily be folded incorrectly if the automatic mechanism is used several times.

All of these disadvantages are avoided by using snap fasteners. The use of four sturdy snap fasteners ensures a horizontal base, as can be seen in the attached drawing. Because part 6 and part 8 each extend across the entire width of the cassette, the snap fasteners can be easily snapped into place - as can they be opened when the cassette is dismantled for storage purposes. * The use of snap fasteners is also environmentally friendly, as adhesives can be dispensed with here.
