The invention relates to a sales stand for chains, chain pieces and small parts preferably packaged in self-service hanging boxes, whereby the sales stand has cantilever arms suspended from slotted profiles of the stand, which support intermediate axles for the chain storage drums.

As self-service expands, the need for display stands also increases, even for materials that are to be dispensed in measured lengths, such as chains.

Due to the large number of chains required by the customer, firstly in terms of the dimensions of the individual chain links (heavy chains, light chains, fine chains) and secondly in terms of the design (bare chains, galvanized chains, plastic chains, etc.), the complex requirement of accommodating as many different chains as possible in the smallest possible space with good accessibility must be met.

This has already been achieved by storing several chain drums next to each other on a stud wall via cantilever arms.

The invention is now based on the task of further developing such a chain stand in such a way that a clearer presentation of the drums, a better distribution of the individual drums over the height of the chain stand (so-called chain levels) can be seen and more chain drums or chain rollers can be accommodated with the same space requirement.

This is achieved surprisingly easily by designing the cantilever arms of the chain drum so that they can be extended.

Preferably, the cantilever arms consist of two parts that can be locked against each other using several screws that can be fixed through slots.

It is advantageous if the cantilever arms themselves are additionally designed to be adjustable in height at the slot profiles.

The cantilever arms can support particularly heavy loads if they are designed as L-profiles or angle profiles with hooks in the upper area.

According to a particularly practical embodiment, the drum axes and thus the rollers or drums are arranged in the manner of a half pyramid.

The sales stand opens up further possibilities if the drum axes are arranged at a distance from the rear wall that is approximately equal to the drum diameter. This would make it possible to hang chain pieces from the rear wall of the stand.

According to a particularly practical embodiment, the slotted profiles (supports) are designed as closed square tube profiles.

Preferably, the sales chain stand according to the invention has seven chain levels.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the storage of chains but can also be applied to any other goods that are to be arranged in a pyramid shape, for example.

In general, one will try to place the drums or rollers as far away from the self-service wall as possible so that pieces of chain or the like can be hung behind the drums.

The pyramid shape made possible by the measure of the invention is obviously particularly suitable to be accepted by the customer, especially since the accessibility to the chains wound on the drums remains excellent.

Such a chain stand is delivered packed in a set and can be set up in just a few steps even by inexperienced personnel. Static safety is guaranteed.

Figure 3 shows a modified embodiment compared to Figure 2. The object of this modification is that these adjustable traverses can be designed not only for horizontal use (Fig. 2), but also for use at an angle of up to 30° as required (Fig. 3).
