DESCRIPTION

The invention relates to a packaging material blank according to the preamble of claim 1.

The object underlying the invention is to create an improved packaging material cut of this type which is easy to manufacture and easy to process, which can be easily and well held and guided between the belt guides of packaging machines, particularly in the state of a finished package, and which can also be easily held in a display or stand when filled, without the need for elements that overlap at the front of the packaging for holding it, whereby finally importance is also attached to an attractive and aesthetic external appearance of the packaging material cut when assembled into a finished package.

Starting from a packaging material blank with the features of the generic term of claim 1, this problem is solved by combining the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.

Advantageous further features of the packaging material blank according to the invention arise from claims 2-11.

As a result of this design of the packaging material cut, the formation of a generally cuboid-shaped packaging is ensured, which has a fin protruding outwards on two opposite outer sides, in the form of a web, extending over the entire length of the finished packaging, so that with the help of these two fins, excellent holding and guidance between belt guides of packaging machines is possible, while on the other hand these fins or guide tabs protruding outwards on the sides also ensure that the finished packaging, when filled with goods, is very well and safely positioned and held in a stand or the like.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which shows an advantageous embodiment.

Fig. 2 shows a closed packaging made from the blank according to Fig. 1.

The packaging material step 1 has a base part 2 and a lid part 3, between which a connecting region 4 is formed, which consists of a number of side parts 5, 6, 7 and 8, which are each connected to one another via parallel folding lines 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

The two middle, directly adjacent side parts 6 and 7 are designed as strips that can be glued together, which enables the formation of a first fin 4 3 that protrudes outwards in the finished packaging (see Fig. 2).

Furthermore, on the free parallel outer sides of the blank 1 opposite the connecting region 4, both the base part 2 and the cover part 3 each have two side parts 16 and 17 or 18 and 19, i.e. only half as many side parts as in the connecting region 4 between the base part 2 and the cover part 3. The side parts 16 and 17 are connected to one another via a fold line 14 and the side parts 18 and 19 via a fold line 15.

Here, the outermost side parts 16 and 19 of the base part 2 and the lid part 3 are designed as edge strips that can be glued together, which enables the formation of a second fin 44 that protrudes outwards beyond the packaging edge in the finished packaging (see Fig. 2)*

The side parts 17 and 5 of the base part 2 are each designed in the same way and have a small end flap 20 and 21 on one narrow edge and a connecting web 22 and 23 on an opposite narrow edge.

Through this connecting web 22 or 23, the respective side part 17 or 5 is connected to an end flap 25 connected to the base part 2 via a fold line 24.

The two side parts 8 and 18 directly adjacent to the cover part 3 are designed in the same way as the base part 2, but here it is provided that the small end flaps 34 and 35 and the connecting webs 36 and 37 on the cover part 3 are rotated by 180° compared to the arrangement of the end flaps 20 and 21 and connecting webs 22 and 23 on the base part 2.

With regard to these connecting webs 22, 23 and 36, 37, it should also be mentioned that they are each essentially triangular or trapezoidal in shape, with a central fold line 32 and 33 or 32' and 33' running obliquely to the outer edge.

Furthermore, the closing flap 25, which is connected to the side parts 17 and 5 of the base part 2 via the connecting webs 22 and 23, also has an insertion flap 38, which is connected to this closing flap 25 via a fold line 39. In addition, the base part 2 has, on its side opposite the insertion flap 38, another closing flap 40, which is connected via a

The cover part 3 also has a further closing flap 41 on the corresponding side, which is connected to the cover part 3 via a bend line 41'.

Finally, on the side opposite the closing flap 41, the cover part 3 has a further closing flap 42, which is connected to the cover part 3 via a fold line 42' and can be glued inwards to the inner surface of the cover part 3.

As can also be seen from Fig. 2, the finished packaging 2 has fins 43 and 44 projecting outwards at the sides, each with an inner adhesive surface 49 and 50, whereby the side fin 43 is connected to the lid part 3 and the base part 2 via inclined surfaces 45 and 47 and the side fin 44 is connected to the lid part 3 and the base part 2 via inclined surfaces 46 and 48.

In the cover part 3 there is also a window 51.
