Divisible tray made of a

The invention relates to a divisible crate made from a one-piece blank made of foldable material with a base part, upright front and side walls hinged thereto and a lid part hinged to the side walls, with insertion openings for the secure placement of containers or the like, divided into two parts and supported by support webs in relation to the base part and a cross-sectional weakening running centrally through the base part and a tear tab connected to it centrally on the front walls.

In the case of such known divisible crates, the cohesion of the two halves of the crate by straight perforation lines in the base is unstable, particularly in the case of buckling stresses, and the division into two halves is disadvantageous in terms of handling due to poorly designed tear tabs.

The object of the invention is to improve a crate constructed according to the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that a special but simply designed cross-sectional weakening is provided in the base part for a stable connection, but also for precise separation into two parts, and the tear tabs have a good access and attack option for convenient tearing.

This problem is solved by the characterizing features of claim 1, whereby the design features listed in the individual subclaims represent advantageous further developments of the problem solution.

The subject matter of the invention extends not only to the features of the individual claims, but also to their combination.

The crate according to the invention is equipped in the base part with a special cross-sectional weakening consisting of several recesses arranged in a row and perforation lines in between, whereby the perforation lines run in short waves, which results in an extended perforation over a short distance due to the wave shape, which on the one hand provides good connection strength overall and in particular under buckling loads and on the other hand enables easy division into two halves of the crate, since only several short wave perforations have to be cut through.

Furthermore, the tear tabs have grip tabs that extend upwards, which provide a larger gripping surface and thus make tearing easier; the grip tabs that are punched out of the lid part and extend as an extension of the tear tabs have created an opening for each grip tab in the lid part, which increases the gripping surface and access to the grip tabs and tear tabs and thus makes handling even more convenient.

The cross-sectional weakening in the base part (1) is formed by several recesses (9) arranged in a row at a distance from one another, which are exposed by two webs (8a) each punched out except for a fold line and folded in the direction of the cover part (4), and by a perforation line (10) provided between the recesses (9) themselves and between every last recess (9) and the adjacent tear-off tab (6), whereby all perforation lines (10) run in a wave-like manner in the longitudinal direction of the crate.

The recesses (9) have a rectangular cross-section running in the direction of the row (the larger rectangular extension runs in the longitudinal direction of the rack) and the two webs (8a) that form them are glued to the webs (8).

Each perforation line (10) located between two recesses (9) or an end recess (9) and the tear tab (6) has at least one wave trough and one wave crest along its length and the two perforation line ends merge into the central dividing line (punching line) (11) for the recess webs (8a).

The two front tear tabs (6) each form a gripping tab that protrudes beyond the front wall height (6a).

Both tear tabs (6 3) are each punched out of an adhesive tab (12) of a common lid part half (4a), each tear tab (6) lies on the edge of the adhesive tab (12) and is detachably connected to the adhesive tab (12) by a perforation line (13) running over the entire height of the adhesive tab and thus the entire height of the front wall (2). The grip tab (6a) which is integrally connected to the tear tab (6) extends ^ into the lid part (4) (the lid part half 4a), has an arched (semicircular) basic shape and is punched out of the lid part half (4a).

Each tear tab (6), except for the exposed grip tab (6a), is glued on the outside to a second tear tab (14) located in the end walls (2) hinged to the base part (1) and which can be removed from the end walls (2) by perforation lines (15).

Corresponding to the tear tabs (6) with grip tabs (6a), the other half (4b) of the lid part (4) is equipped with { cut-outs (16) of the same shape and size, which allow the tear tabs (6) to be glued to the inner tear tabs (14) on the front wall.

The arcuate cutouts (6b, 16a) in the edges of the lid part formed by the grip tabs (6a) and the corresponding cutouts (16) together result in a semicircular grip opening (17) on the lid side for each grip tab (6), which enables a large-area grip of the grip tabs (6a) and additionally of the inner tear tabs (14).

To split the crate, the two grip tabs (6a) are grasped and pulled outwards so that the tear tab (6) tears open along its perforation line (13); at the same time, the adhesive connection also tears open the inner tear tab (14) along its two perforation lines (15). The wave-shaped perforation lines (10) in the base part (1) are then severed and two separate halves of the crate are created.

The tray shown in the drawing has five recesses (9) in the base part (1) in the separation area - but it can also have three, four or more than five recesses (9).

In the cover part (4), for example, twenty insertion openings (5) are arranged in four rows and between each row the support webs (7, 8) or (7, 8a) are provided. This number of insertion openings can also be varied.
