Description

.Preparations for preventing plants and animals from attaching to water-flushed areas Areas In the course of the last few decades, a large number of funds have been proposed have been brought in to prevent plants and animals of the most varied from each other Types of water-flushed surfaces, be it natural stone, masonry, concrete walls, ceramic Coatings, metal plates, pipes, woods or plastics, etc., in a disruptive manner can fix. Certainly the circumstances are completely different, whether it is z. B. to swimming pools,: pier or port structures, freshwater ships or Overseasers act, but at least it is biologically uniformly clear that initially Bacterial lawns or plankton silt, dam the higher living beings, such as algae, mussels, Fungi or insects, prepare the ground and any oligodynamic influences must overcome. before a more lush flora and fauna can develop. at the means on the market was now. so far overlooked that precisely the fight the microorganisms by keeping bactericidal or fungicidal agents in stock more important is, in itself, only of minor importance than the use of actual insecticides play and are often not very stable in water. .

Ausführungsbeispiele i. It has been found that an intimate mixture of a matrix of heavy metal oxide or oxide with heavy metal cyanamide or basic heavy metal arsenate or with a mixture of the latter two components then best for the intended purposes is fair if in each case about io to q.o parts of these overall approaches with about go Up to 6o parts of conventional paints or the like can be made up. As heavy metal components Most of them come from copper, lead, mercury, Zinc, Cadmium, iron, manganese, and chromium are contemplated, but tin, silver, and bismuth are also included quite useful. Heavy metal cyanamides and / or basic heavy metal arsenates are in an intimate mixture with heavy metal oxides or oxides, preferably those of a different valence level, so largely in distilled water, in rain, River, sea or sea water, even under tropical conditions, insoluble that Relatively long periods of time pass before they are completely absorbed. That they still maintain a high degree of hiological effectiveness was surprising but has proven itself through long-term trials and trials. Ships. on big trip confirmed. For special purposes, the usual bactericides, Fungicides and / or insecticides are added. If it is lime mortar, Betort, cement or plastic masses, the above mixtures can also be added directly "Verden. Embodiments i. From. a technical calcium cyanamide -with approx 2o%, N all Calciumcyana @ mid is dissolved in the cold with a little cold water: The clear filtrate becomes cold (the residue consists of graphite, etc.) with the solution implemented any copper salt and dried the resulting copper cyanamide. It is ground extremely finely with copper oxide in a ratio of i: 4 and possibly wind sifted. Ten parts of this mixture graze with go parts. B. for ship walls or floors usual paints extremely fine, rubbed and thus last Layer z. B. on oil.mennige- and linseed oil stand oil pre-paints, following the previous ones carefully de-rusted parts applied. 2. Instead of copper cyanamide can be used in the same Apply basic copper arsenate used, z. B. from copper salt solutions filled with arsenate solutions wind.
