Verfahren zur Herstellung von synthetischem Roheisen Es ist bekannt, -daß man bei der Herstellung von synthetischem Roheisen mit dem diskontinuierlichen Verfahren praktisch nur Kohlenstoffgehalte bis zu etwa z,7% Herreichen kann. Die Kohlung auf höhere Gehalte erfordert besondere Maßnahmen, die die Arbeitsweise umständlich und teuer machen. Zu diesem Zweck wird @erfindungsgemäß ein Teil des benötigten Kohlungsmittels, gegebenenfalls der überwiegende Anteil desselben, in einer zusiammenhängenden Schicht auf dem Boden des Tiegels !aufgegeben bzw. aufgestampft und darüber schichtweise der Schrott und der Rest des Kohlun,gsmittels @abwechselnd angeordnet. Auf diese Weise gelingt es, ein Roheisen 'mit einem Kohlenstoffgehalt bis etwa 4,50/0 mühelos zu erschmelzen.
