Vorliegende Neuerung betrifft eine Verbesserung an Röstapparaten und bezweckt einestheils eine vermehrte Ausnutzung der Heizgase, anderentheils eine Aufbesserung des Geschmackes des Röstgutes. Die vermehrte Ausnutzung der Heizgase wird dadurch erreicht, dafs man die letzteren aufser auf die im Trommelgehäuse rotirende Rösttrommel, in der sich das Röstgut befindet, auch noch auf in dem Gehäuse angeordnete , um die Trommel herumgelegte und mit derselben rotirende Rohre einwirken läfst, welche zur Erzeugung von warmer Luft dienen. Die reine frische Luft strömt bei L in das Schlangenrohr R und erwärmt sich bei ihrer Circulation durch dasselbe. Bei \ tritt dann die erwärmte Luft in die gegen die Feuergase abgeschlossene Rösttrommel, wo sie zwecks Erzielung eines besseren Geschmackes auf das Röstgut einwirkt. Durch diese eigenartige Anordnung, der Lufterhitzungsrohre wird die Wirkung der Heizgase erhöht und gleichzeitig auch die Haltbarkeit der Rösttrommel, indem die durch die Rohre JR ziehende frische Luft die Trommelwandung kühlt und so ein Durchbrennen derselben durch die Feuergase verhindert. Ein Durchbrennen der Rohre selbst kann aber nicht stattfinden, weil einerseits immer frische Luft durch dieselben strömt und andererseits die Rohre sich mit der Trommel drehen, so dafs die Feuergase eine längere Zeit auf eine Stelle wirken können.The present innovation relates to an improvement in roasting apparatus and aims, on the one hand, to make greater use of the heating gases, and, on the other, to improve the taste of the roasted material.
