Die Neuerung betrifft die Ausstattung einer üblichen Zahnbürste mir einem schaufelartigen, spitz zulaufenden Ende des Handhabungsstieles, welche den Prothesenträgern gestattet die Zahnprothese _i insbesondere die nuz' schwer zugänglichen Innenflächen der Prothese, die am Kiefer anliegen, von Speiseresten und Bakterienbewuchs zu befreien. Die z.Z. auf dem Markt befindlichen chemischen Reiniger z.B. in Tgblettenform, die Zahnprothesen überNacht oder im Laufe von 15-20 Minuten von Belag und Bakterienvmchs befreien sollen erfüllen ihre Aufgabe nur sehr unvollkommen, da mancher Belag eben sehr stark an der Prothese haftet. Das mit der Neuerung ausgestattete Reinigungsgerät erlaubt nicht nur, wie üblich, mit den Borsten der Bürste Ablagerungen zwischen den Zähnen und den Belag der Innenflächen der Prothese teilweise zu entfernen, sondern auch den meist sehr stark anhaftenden Belag mit dem schaufelartigen, spitz zulaufenden Stielende abzuschaben, zu lockern und zu entfernen, um ! damit die Prothese in kurzer Zeit wirklich zu säubern und in appe- \ titlichen, hygienisch einwandfreien Zustand zu versetzen. Die Spitze des Stielendes gestattet auch in den kleinen Vertiefungen der Prothese den Belag zu lösen und zu beseitigen, sodaß die Prothese nach erfolgter Reinigung auch wieder fest am Kiefer haftet. Um ein Zerkratzen der Prothesen-Innenflächen, die sich an den Kiefer anschmiegen und mit Saugwirkung daran haften, zu vermeiden, wird iji für das Reinigungsgerät mit Neuerung am besten ein weiches, vor-•| zugsweise thermoplastisches Material als Bürstenträger und für den in einer Spitze auslaufenden Stiel gewählt.
