Such an umbrella has the advantage over the known umbrellas that it is folded up State has a shorter length.

In this known umbrella (DE-G 84 31 830.9) is the central rod of the umbrella with the main rod connecting rod formed with an elongated hole through which an end portion of the auxiliary rod to be led. The umbrella shown in the drawing comprises an upper fastening ring 11, a lower fastening ring 12, a central rod 13, and a handle arranged at the lower end of the central rod 13.
