Spannungsregler, z. Ii. Tirrillregler, konstant gehalten, so erfolgt diese Leistungsbeeinflussung
durch den Sollwerteinsteller des Reglers.Power regulator for parallel working direct current generators with
automatic voltage regulator If a DC generator works in parallel with a
DC network, the output. Power can be known by changing the excitation
affected by the generator. Is the voltage of the generator by an automatic
Voltage regulator, e.g. Ii. Tirrill regulator, kept constant, this is how this performance is influenced
by the setpoint adjuster of the controller.
Bei schlechten Netzverhältnissen, also schwankender Netzspannung,
In poor network conditions, i.e. fluctuating network voltage,
this setpoint adjuster of the voltage regulator must now be readjusted manually,
if the power delivered by the generator is to remain constant. According to the invention
this readjustment of the setpoint adjuster on the voltage regulator is automatically carried out in

The advantages of the invention are that the performance of the generator
kept constant at an adjustable value regardless of mains voltage fluctuations
and in the event of a disconnection or power failure, the voltage from the voltage regulator
kept constant and thus the operation is maintained.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
The DC generator
i, the parallel with others, not shown
DC generators working on the network 2, has an excitation winding 3,
which is fed by the exciter 4. The excitation 5 of the exciter machine
is in series with a shunt regulator 6, which is from the contacts of a turntable regulator

of the turntable regulator is controlled by the coil 8, which has a temperature-independent

The coil a of the changeover relay is connected via a control resistor 18
to a resistor 17 located in a generator line, and its excitation is
thus dependent on the magnitude of the generator current and on that at the rheostat

Verringerung seines Widerstandes ver-

To explain the mode of operation, it is assumed that the variable resistor 18 is set to a specific position for setting the generator = current setpoint, which at a constant voltage therefore simultaneously represents the power setpoint of the generator. If the generator current deviates from the set value, e.g. B. upwards, the coil a of the changeover relay is energized more strongly, and this relay closes its lower changeover contact 14, whereby the adjustment motor 13 is connected to voltage in such a direction that it adjusts the setpoint adjuster 12 in the sense of a reduction in its resistance. sets and thus the Tirrill controller 7 on a small
