Description

Schaumstoff-Cervical-Stütze
Zur Behandlung von Beschwerden im Halswirbelsäulenberaich werden u.a. sogenannte Schaumstoff-Cervical-Stützen verwendet. Diese Stützen sind einstückig ringförmig aus Schaumstoff angefertigt und so geformt, daß die Körperkonturen im Halsbereich nachgeformt sind. Die bekannten Schaumstoff-Cervical-Stützen sind an einerstelle geöffnet, damit der Patient mit seinem Hals in den Ring schlüpfen kann. Diese Öffnung dient gleichzeitig zur Anpassung der erforderlichen Weite. Bei den meisten Stützen ist diese Öffnung hinten wegen der besseren Anschmiegung an die Kinnpartie. Es sind aber auch Stützen bekannt, die zur besseren Handhabung die Öffnung nach vorne haben.
Der Nachteil der bekannten Schaumstoff-Cervical-Stützen besteht darin, daß bei der Öffnung auch gleichzeitig die Weite verstellt wird und es immer dem Zufall überlassen bleibt, ob der Patient beim Anziehen der Stütze auch die Weite wieder richtig einstellt, was sich auf die Entlastungswirkung dieser Stütze sel.r nachteilig auswirken kann.
Die Neuheit der hiermit angemeldeten Schaumstoff-Cervical-Stütze besteht darin, daß der Schaumstoffring aus 2 Teilen besteht und demnach hinten und vorne geöffnet werden kann. Dabei wird die hintere Öffnung überlappend gearbeitet, um die Weiteneinstellung vorzunehmen. Die einmal festgelegte Weite wird durch Klettenverschluß oder auch andere Verschlüsse fixiert. Die im Kinnbereich auf Stoß gearbeitete vordere öffnung dient zum bequemen An- und Ausziehen.
Der Patient weiß, daß bei bündigem Schließen der vorderen Öffnung die Stütze richtig angezogen ist. Der Verschluß kann durch Klettenverschluß, Druckknöpfe, oder andere Verschlüsse erfolgen.

Schut zanspruch
1. Schaumstoff-Cervical-Stütze, dadurch gekennzeichnet/ daß sie aus 2 Teilen besteht.
2. Schaumstoff-Cervical-Stütze nach Anspruch 1 dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die hintere öffnung zur Weitenverstellung und die vordere öffnung zum An- und Ausziehen dient.
3. Schaum-Cervical-Stütze nach Anspruch 1 und 2 dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der vorderen öffnung die Schaumstoffenden auf Stoß gearbeitet sind.
