Induction coil for high frequency currents with variable tap
The invention relates to an induction coil with a variable tap,
which is particularly suitable for high-frequency currents of great strength. It is known,
the Stromal) measurement by means of a slide on the bare windings of the coil
To effect contact pieces. Such constructions have not proven themselves,
because 'especially at high operating frequencies under the influence of the magnetic
Coil field over the current density at such surface contacts very unevenly
the contact surface is distributed. Attempts have therefore been made with smaller contact areas
and correspondingly higher contact pressures. made, however, the friction is thereby
too large - and the result is correspondingly high wear.
In
Spulenwindung i drücken.
The main magnetic field of the coil causes higher frequencies
an increasing concentration of the current on the conducting spars of smaller diameter,
d. H. on the inner surface of the turns. In the case of contact arrangements with several customers ;,
which are distributed over the circumference of the coil conductor, leads the inner one

Inside the consumer, the current distribution is still uneven. To these shortcomings: to,
fix, and. a more even current distribution over the contact surface or the
To effect contact surfaces of several current collectors, according to the invention, means
preferably shielding means, may be provided around the main magnetic field of the coil
of the contact surface or the contact surfaces between the winding and the current collector
and, if necessary, also from the immediate vicinity of the embossed area or
Keep areas away. The preferred embodiment of such a shield
consists of an annular or approximately cylindrical short-circuit winding,
weave the coil winding and surrounds the contact surface or contact surfaces.
In
Fig. I is an embodiment of the induction coil with variable tap according to FIG
of the invention shown schematically. Of the helical coil, only that is
Part of a turn i, shown together with the tap. On the rotating central axis
2, the arm 3 is attached, which surrounds the coil winding with an annular extension.
This annular approach carries the springs 4, which the contact pieces 5 against the
Press coil turn i. Only two contact pieces are shown here, of which
one on the inside and the other on the outside of the coil winding. But it could also
a higher number of contact pieces can be used. The coil head field which
is enclosed by the individual coil windings, would now cause the current,
to flow almost completely over the inner pantograph and possibly this
to overload, if not provided the shield according to the invention
were. This consists of the well-conducting, sleeve-shaped part that covers the entire room
of the contacts and a piece of the coil turn i on the current-loaded side.
f) The sleeve should close tightly with its approach to the Spu'Ien-% "iiiduiig on this side
approach without touching them, so that the main coil field as little as possible in the
harnessed space penetrates. Imnerhalli of this room is now essentially only
the magnetic field of the flowing into the shielded space on winding i
Current is present and, as is well known, this causes a displacement in a straight conductor
of the stream towards the surface. The short, shielded line piece can be approximated
be viewed in a straight line. The one on the coil turn outside, the shield
6 The current flowing essentially only on the inner surface is distributed according to
the entry into the screened room, since the main field is missing and his own
Field causes a counter-voltage that increases towards the middle of the conductor, quite a bit
evenly on the entire surface of the coil conductor and thus also on the contact pieces
5 so that none of them are overloaded.
When the arm 3 is rotated by means of the axis 2, the entire pantograph moves
with the contact pieces 5 along the turn. Since the sleeve-shaped short circuit
6 is attached to the holder 3 for the contact pieces, it is moved with it.
umgeben. When applying the invention, it is particularly advantageous to use the uniform
Exploit current distribution over the surface of the coil conductor by a corresponding
Distribution of the contact area over the entire circumference of the coil conductor, preferably
within an annular surface, which is a plane passing through the coil axis as
Has midplane. Fig. 2 shows a sectional drawing perpendicular to the center line
of the coil conductor, such as eight contact pieces 5 evenly over the circumference of the coil conductor
are distributed. Each contact piece 5 is attached to a leaf spring 4, which
the Kontalktstüdk presses against the coil conductor, while the -Blattfedern 4 "of
-whose in Fig.2 only the cut surfaces can be seen, the coil conductor like a trap
surround.
Practical tests have shown that with one according to the invention
shielded current collector with low contact pressure and accordingly
low speed ultra-short wave currents up to 15o A without overheating individual contact pieces
could be removed.
