Die unsymmetrische Verzerrung der Hochfrequenzströme würde eine Gleichfußkomponente sowohl bei der Löschung wie beim Vormagnetisieren auf dem Magnetogrammträger zur Folge haben; dadurch würde die praktische Rauschfreiheit des Magnetogramms, das durch die Hochfrequenzmagnetisierung sonst erzielt wird, -beeinträchtigt werden.
