Description

The present invention relates to a charging board for charging of accumulators. Up to now, reverse relays have been used on such charging panels, in order to prevent the batteries from discharging if there is no mains voltage. Such reverse current relays are relatively expensive and do not always work safely. These disadvantages are avoided in the loading panel according to the invention in that in place of reverse current relay dry rectifier cells the accumulators in such a way are connected upstream that the charging current from the dry rectifier is allowed through in the opposite direction, however, if there is no mains voltage, there is continuity of current blocked and thereby a discharge of the batteries is avoided.

Due to the invention, especially when the battery cells are charged during the night without supervision, the advantage is achieved that charging is continued immediately after the mains voltage has returned. In contrast, the reverse current relays used up to now had to be switched on again manually, so that when charging was carried out without supervision, it would be interrupted if the mains voltage was temporarily absent. In the drawing, an embodiment of a charging panel according to the invention is shown with 6 circuits. As can be seen, a dry rectifier f is connected upstream of the accumulator cells g in each charging circuit, in such a way that the charging current is allowed to pass through the dry rectifier, but is blocked in the opposite direction. The mains current enters at a and is fed to the battery cells g via a main switch and fuses b and b1 via push-button switches c, resistors d, warning lamps e and dry rectifier f.

Claim: Charging panel for charging accumulators, characterized in that, instead of reverse current relays, dry rectifier cells are connected upstream of the accumulators in such a way that the charging current is allowed through by the dry rectifiers, but in the opposite direction, if there is no mains voltage, the passage of current is blocked, thereby preventing the accumulators from discharging will.
