Verfahren nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das schwefelhaltige Gas mit einem neutralen oder reduzierenden, als Träger dienenden Gas verdünnt wird. 3. Verfahren nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als schwefelhaltiges Gas Schwefeldioxyd verwendet wird. 4. Verfahren nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als schwefelhaltiges Gas Schwefelwasserstoff verwendet wird. 5. Verfahren nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als schwefelhaltiges Gas eine organische Verbindung, wie Schwefelkohlenstoff, Merkaptan, Thioäther, verwendet wird. PATENT CLAIMS: i.
