Description

Verfahren zum Herstellen von Cellulose-Xanthogenat für die Brikettierung von Kohlenstaub Im Patent $o3 597 ist ein Verfahren niedergelegt, welches vorsieht, Kohlenstaub unter Zuhilfenahme von Xanthogenat als Bindemittel zu brikettieren. Das Verfahren wird in der «'eise ausgeführt, daß der Kohlenstaub in trockenem oder feuchtem Zustand mit feinkrümeligem Cellulose-Xanthogenat vermischt wird, worauf dann die entsprechende Menge Wasser zugefügt wird, die erforderlich ist, um das Xanthogenat anzulösen und so die Klebewirkung zu erzielen. Man kann das Verfahren auch so ausführen, daß das Cellulose-Xanthogenat kurz in Wasser aufgeschlagen wird, um es dann mit dem richtigen Feuchtigkeitsgehalt versehen dem Kohlenstaub zuzumischen. Voraussetzung für die Durchführung dieser Arbeitsweise ist, daß das Cellulose-Xanthogenat in sehr feinkrümeliger Beschaffenheit vorliegt, damit möglichst viele Kohleteilchen mit demselben in Berührung kommen, wodurch eine gute Klebewirkung gewährleistet wird. Beim normalen Sulfidierungs- bzw. Xanthogenierungsprozeß von feingemahlener Alkalicellulose mit Schwefelkohlenstoff kleben leicht die xanthogenierten Cellulosefasern zusammen, so daß nach der durchgeführten Sulfidierung infolge dieses Verklebungsprozesses größere Teilchen vorliegen, als sie in der ursprünglichen Alkalicellulose vorhanden waren. Es ist deshalb erforderlich, bei Durchführung der Brikettierung von Kohlenstaub mit Hilfe von Xanthogenat dieses noch einmal durch Zerkleinerungsmaschinen zu schicken, um die ursprünglich feine Zerkleinerung wenigstens bis zu einem gewissen Grad wieder zu erreichen.
