Beim Abwickeln des Zierbandes gleitet der Ring auf der Zierbandoberseite, so daß er eine Relativbewegung zur Zierbandoberfläche durchführt. Indem der Ring aus federelastischem Material besteht, kann er leicht zum Aufbringen auf die Bandspule gespreizt werden.
