Um in dem Loch den alten Punkt für die Unterlage zu finden, mußte von den Zählernadeln zurückgemessen und dann an dieser Stelle heruntergelotet werden. Dieses Verfahren mußte beim Setzen des Grenzsteines mehrmals wiederholt werden, um die Alitte vom Stein bzw. das Kreuz genau einzurichten.
