Das den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildende Combinationsschlofs ohne Schlüssel soll zum Verschlufs von Riemen, Ketten, Geschäftsbüchern etc. verwendet werden. Da das Princip, nach welchem das vorliegende Schlofs construirt werden soll, für die verschiedenen Anwendungen dasselbe ist, kann sich die nachfolgende Beschreibung auf eine derselben beschränken , z. Das Gehäuse A enthält die Zuhaltungen und den Riegel und trägt an den Verlängerungen seiner Seiten an einem Ende eine Achse a, um welche und auf welcher durch Vernähen oder andere Weise der eine Riementheil gelegt und befestigt wird, und an dem anderen Ende zwei Theile: den gewöhnlichen Schnallendorn B, welcher in eines der Löcher des anderen Riementheiles einzugreifen bestimmt ist, und die Verschlufsklappe C, welche, wenn das Schlofs geschlossen wird, über den Schnallendorn geklappt wird (s. Stellung Fig. 3), und welche in dieser Stellung durch den Schlofsriegel gehalten wird, so dafs eine Auslösung des Schnallendornes aus dem Riemen verhindert wird. Der Theil C, welcher um 0 drehbar gelagert ist und z. B. die in den Fig. 2 und 3 veranschaulichte Form besitzt, trägt einen Arm C, der an seinem Ende zweimal umgebogen ist, zuerst nach unten, dann nach innen, so dafs der Schlofsriegel über das so gebildete Endstück c greifen und verhindern kann, dafs dasselbe zwecks Auslösung des Schnallendornes von dem Riemen aus seiner Stellung gebracht wird. An Stelle eines einzigen Riegels können deren zwei angeordnet werden; in diesem Falle müfste der Theil C an jedem seiner Enden einen gebogenen Arm anstatt des bezeichneten einzigen besitzen. Das Gehäuse A trägt auf den beiden anderen Seiten eine Oeffnung für den Durchgang und die Bewegung'der Zuhaltungen. Endlich wird das Gehäuse A vermittelst einer Platte D geschlossen (s. Fig. 2, 3 und 6), welche mit einem um e drehbaren Riegel E versehen ist und nicht eher, z. B. zur Auswechselung der Zuhaltungen, abgehoben werden kann, als bis der Riegel zurückgedrückt werden kann, d. h. nur, wenn das Schlofs geöffnet ist. Diese Platte D wird hinten durch einen Ansatz oder eine Zunge s, welche in einen in der entsprechenden Gehäusewand vorgesehenen Spalt greift, und vorn durch den Riegel E gehalten, welch letzterer in eine entsprechend in der entgegengesetzten Gehäusewand vorgesehene Oeffnung greift. Der Riegel E kann nicht eher in die in der Fig. 6 punktirt gezeichnete Lage gebracht, d. h. aufser Eingriff mit dem Gehäuse A gebracht werden, als bis das Schlofs geöffnet ist. Hierdurch deckt man alle Einschnitte g' mit einander und verschiebt alsdann den Riegel, so dafs die Zunge n' in diese Einschnitte greift; darauf setzt man die Verschlufsplatte D auf, indem man den Ansatz s und den Riegel E in die entsprechenden Seitenwandungen des Schlofsgehäuses greifen läfst. Nachdem nun der Riemen eingeführt und mit dem Schnallendorn in Eingriff gebracht ist, wird die Verschlufsklappe C über den letzteren geklappt (s. voll ausgezogene Lage Fig. 3) und der Riegel alsdann nach vorn gedrückt, so dafs er über das Ende c der Verschlufsklappe greift und sie niederhält. Dadurch, dafs die verschiedenen Plättchen schliefslich ganz in das Schlofsgehäuse gehoben werden, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist, wird die Combination zerstört.
