Auf manchen Fahrzeugen ist der Trog einschließlich Deckel und Gewindebolzen platzsparend und damit unzugänglich angeordnet. Nach dem Lösen der Schraubverbindungen muß der Deckel zur Freigabe des Akkumulators abgenommen werden. Im allgemeinen reicht Muskelkraft hierzu nicht aus. Alles dies bedeutet, daß sich der erfindungsgemäße Klappdeckel allein mit Muskelkraft und ohne zusätzliche Werkzeuge, wie Schraubenschlüssel, Hebezeuge usw., öffnen und wieder schließen läßt. Bei zweckmäßiger Ausbildung des Schlosses wird auch allein mit dessen Schließen sichergestellt, daß die beiden Deckelteile mit ausreichender Anpreßkraft und Sicherheit auf dem Unterkasten aufliegen und in dieser Schließstellung gehalten werden.
