Der Zweck der nachstehend beschriebenen Neuerung an den vorbezeichneten Gebrauchsgegenständen ist im wesentlichen der, denselben Gebrauchsgegenstand durch Verstellen seiner Höhe für Personen von verschiedenem Alter bezw. verschiedener Gröfse verwenden zu können. Die Zahntheilungen von / und G sind gleiche, derart, dafs die Zähne von / in die entsprechenden Zahnzwischenräume von G und umgekehrt passen. Die Zahnform selbst kann hierbei eine geradlinig konische, wie in der Zeichnung angegeben, oder auch eine rundliche oder anders geformte sein, sie mufs jedoch immer eine solche Form haben, dafs die durch Anordnung eines Schlitzes g in der Zunge / federnd gemachten Theile derselben beim Auf- oder Abschieben des Tischträgers F im Tischfufs G selbsttätig federnd zurückweichen können. Das Feststellen der Zunge f geschieht durch einen leicht konischen Keil m, welcher an der an der Zunge f festgemachten Platte M scharnierartig festgehalten ist und, wie auch aus Fig. 2 und 5 ersichtlich, aufgeklappt werden kann. Der Keil m greift in den Schlitz g ein und drückt die beiden federnden Theile der Zunge f mit ihren Zähnen fest gegen die Zähne des Tischfufses G, derart, dafs die Tischträgerzunge f und der Tischfufs dann fest mit einander verbunden sind.
