The invention relates to a current or voltage relay for
AC circuits and consists in that to obtain a temperature-independent
Characteristic curve the relay coil is excited via a resonance circuit and a rectifier
is. To make a relay independent of the room temperature. one had to before
place a large lossy resistor in front of the relay coil.
Linie i sei die Ansprechkennlinie
Fig. I shows the course of the excitation current as a function of the
Voltage in the previous voltage relays (lines i and 2). Line i is the response characteristic
of a relay, line 2 the response characteristic of the same relay, but with a higher one
Room temperature. It is well known that the resistance of a circle increases when heated,
so that its power consumption drops. Correspondingly, a higher voltage is required to respond
of the heated relay is required. The horizontal G represents the current value that
must be achieved so that the counterforce preventing the response, z. B. a feather,
is overcome. Using the example of line: 2 it is particularly clear that
its point of intersection with G is not exactly fixed in the event of vibrations. Because the cutting angle
is small, the line: 2 approaches the horizontal G already in the hatched
Part, so that an incorrect response is possible there in the event of accidental vibrations
is. On the other hand, the relay makes contact gradually. The same goes for
for the current drop characteristics not shown.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, a voltage relay actuates <-I
a contact a of the circuit 6 to be controlled. The excitation j comes from an alternating current network
4, 5 and takes place according to the invention via a throttle 8 and a capacitance 9, which on
Are matched resonance and are in front of the rectifier 7. With a current relay
a current resonance circuit would be used analogously instead of the voltage resonance circuit.
2 dargestellt
For the response voltage s, the previous relay would have been used for R.
result in the approximate course of the current, which is shown in Fig. i by the line i and 2, respectively
is. According to the invention, a current curve 3 is achieved, the one in the event of a current drop
corresponds to curve 3 '. The point of intersection with the horizontal G is advantageously located
approximately in the middle of the vertical part and is therefore precisely determined. Temperature fluctuations
can no longer affect the characteristic curve because there is a large excess
is present in the response current. The loss-making series resistor is saved.
The relay is also shockproof and has a high response speed.
In addition, the overall rating of the relay can be chosen to be slightly smaller, if
the response point is not in the middle of the vertical part of curve 3, but
selects above.
verlustbringenden Vorwiderstand anzuordnen.A relay for alternating current circuits is already known, its
Coil is excited via a resonance circuit and a rectifier. With the well-known
Arrangement, a current of alternating frequency is fed to the relay, and it should
can be achieved that the relay only within a certain frequency range
appeals to. In contrast, the invention is about the relay a
to give temperature-independent characteristic without it being necessary to do this
to arrange loss-making series resistor.
herabgesetzt.Since there may be high voltages in the event of voltage resonance on the capacitor
can occur, the circuit according to Figure 3 is expediently used, which differs from
Fig. 2 differs by the connection of the rectifier 7, which here from the terminals
of the capacitor 9 takes place. By the fact that the voltage drop of the capacitor
is used to excite the relay, occurring voltage peaks are a priori
degraded.
