UV-Strahlern versehenen mittleren Teil und an diesem beiderseits angrenzend ■je ein mit TR- und ggf. UV-Strahlern ausgerüstetes Seitenteil besitzt, wobei die Seitenteile gegenüber dem mittleren Teil geneigt angeordnet sind. Ein derartiges Bestrahlungsgerät wird vorzugsweise an der Decke befestigt und das Pferd unter dieses Bestrahlungsgerät gestellt. Wach Einschalten der Strahler ergibt sich insbesondere wegen der Tiefenwirkung der Infrarotstrahlen eine gute Durchblutung der ganzen Muskulatur und damit eine Auflockerung, ohne daß das Pferd Einbußen an seinem Leistungsvermögen hinnehmen muß.
