Method for producing a filler for paper, cardboard or other fiber structures The invention relates to a method for producing a filler for paper, cardboard or other fiber structures. According to the invention, it is proposed to decompose the glassy melt products produced by the process of patents 687 502 and 734 626 with sulfuric acid and to separate the mixture, which is obtained in solid form and mainly consists of silica and alkali sulfates, from the liquid containing aluminum sulfate and to use as a filler.

als kombinierter Füll- und Waschstoff verwendet werden.'Is the product of a melting or sintering process, starting from mixtures, b'1.'otierde, silicic # äuren and E rdalkali as optionally fluorine compounds at 23 to a specified quantitative ratio entlialten digested with sulfuric acid, this results in a fabric that Contains silica and calcium sulfate, and this mixture is in a very finely divided form. Such a product excels as a z5 z # I filler for the production of e.g. B. of paper. or cardboard. A digestion product of a glassy melt product also contains aluminum sulfate and, after drying, can be used with great advantage as a combined filler and detergent.
