Device for the removal of an approximately constant according to size and phase
AC voltage from a network with strongly fluctuating voltage facilities for
Keeping one of them constant. Mains voltage drawn from mains with fluctuating voltage
are known. The previously known devices of this type are only able to
to compensate for moderate fluctuations in the mains voltage aps. Dag, -, geii is on protection relay
for electrical systems the requirement is occasionally made that they be at -voltages
between the nominal voltage and a very small fraction of the same, e.g. 5 # 'o
the rated voltage, still working properly. In the case of an electromagnetic protective relay
this requirement cannot be achieved without further reaching it.
denen in Ab-
The invention relates to an auxiliary device for keeping the dem constant as stiff as possible. Relay supplied voltage, which should enable the protective relay to meet the aforementioned requirement. It is already known, although in protection relays, voltage-dependent resistors or to use in which, in dependence of the upstream resistor is mechanically changed by the magnitude of the voltage and circuits. Such devices have JE but a number of disadvantages; Resistors that regulate the current thermisdh have a short service life, mechanically variable resistors in the form of automatic regulators are expensive.
Es müssen also Einrichtungen
gegenüber der N.etzspannun'-.It is also known to take a practically constant voltage from an alternating current network of fluctuating voltage using a series connection of a capacitor and a highly saturated choke coil, but the maintenance of the phase position of the voltage is not taken into account. However, if the task at hand is to enlarge the working range of a wattmetric protective relay in such a way that it still fulfills its purpose even with strongly fluctuating values - the zero point voltage to earth, then not only is the voltage maintained as far as possible, but As far as possible, maintaining the phase position of the voltage is of the greatest importance. Devices must therefore be created which not only keep the voltage supplied to the voltage coil as constant as possible when the mains voltage drops, but also keep its phase position relative to the mains voltage.
vom Strom. The subject of the invention is therefore a device for the extraction of an alternating voltage, which is approximately constant in size and phase, from a network with strongly fluctuating voltage, in particular for supplying the voltage circuit of a wattnetric protective relay, for the purpose of expanding its working range, in which, according to the invention, the voltage coil of the relay connected in parallel with a heavily saturated iron choke coil and connected in series with this parallel circuit is a capacitor whose voltage characteristic intersects that of the choke coil in the saturation range. Fig. I of the drawing shows a diagram of the currents and voltages occurring. A is the curve of the voltage across the choke coil, depending on the current, B is the curve of the voltage across the capacitor, also depending on the current.
a angegeben.
If one imagines the choke coil to be lossless, the voltages on the capacitor and on the choke coil have to be subtracted algebraically from one another when connected in series, and this difference corresponds to the mains voltage applied to the series circuit of capacitor and choke coil, the fluctuations of which are to be compensated . The line voltage corresponding to the difference between the voltage across the choke coil and the voltage across the capacitor is indicated in the illustration of FIG. It is known from Significant Unger Clearly 'that the voltage b at the choke coil virtually. remains constant, even if the voltage a. d. H. the line voltage changes by very large amounts. According to the invention, the voltage to be kept constant is taken from the small arms of the choke coil. From Fig. I can be seen that the requirement of the constancy is this voltage satisfies the better - the flatter the Spannun 1- skurve of the choke coil in the saturation region extends, and the more the intersection of the voltage characteristics of the capacitor and the inductor on the straight line. Part is behind the knee of the choke coil characteristic. This requirement can easily be met by appropriately dimensioning the choke coil. If a consumer with constant resistance is connected to the terminals of the choke coil, it will absorb a constant terminal voltage independent of the fluctuations in the mains voltage, i.e. also a constant current.
In order to meet the requirement of constant current as possible,
So it is only the connection of an ohmic resistor to the terminals of the choke coil,
this resistance is expediently chosen to be so high that the one flowing through it
No noticeable current on the series connection of the choke coil and the capacitor
Has influence. In order to be able to increase this current in the high-ohmic resistor,
a second winding can expediently be attached to the iron core of the choke coil
and switch them in such a way that a transformer or an autotransformer is created.
The additional winding only needs the current in the high-resistance resistor
lead and thus only consist of a very thin wire. The additional winding
can thus have many turns, which means that at the terminals of the resistor,
whose current you want to keep as constant as possible, a relatively high voltage
obtained without using large dimensions for the reactor and the capacitor
to have to.
Relais
ist somit das je,#veils liöchstmögliche. The circuit described can, for example, be used with particular advantage for the voltage circuit of a wattmetric relay, the aforementioned high-value resistor being the voltage coil with its series resistor. In such relays, where it is often required that they operate even at very low voltages, e.g. B. still respond at a few percent of the nominal voltage, whereby the current in the current coil has also decreased proportionally with the voltage, in addition to the requirement for the most constant possible current in the voltage coil, there is also the requirement for the most constant possible phase position of this current-es the current in the current coil. As shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, this requirement is also met by the device according to the invention. 2a shows the diagram for a very small total voltage OB, where OA is the choke coil voltage and AB is the capacitor terminal voltage. In Fig. 2b the same is shown for a large total voltage OB. It can be seen that the vectors OB in FIGS. 2a and 2b have only a very small phase deviation from one another. If the current in the current coil of the wattmetric relay is in phase with the total voltage OB, the current in the voltage coil is in phase with the voltage coil 0A at the choke coil. Both vectors thus enclose an angle of almost 18o with one another, the torque of the wattmetric relay is thus the maximum possible.
Figs. 2 a and 2 b show that m # n to this phase position demands to satisfy well as possible, one must seek to keep the iron and copper losses derDrosselspulemöglichst low. In order to maximize the effectiveness of the device, high-quality iron with particularly low losses will be used, the magnetic air path will be kept as small as possible and the winding will be carried out with an unusually large wire cross-section compared to the usual dimensions. The latter is also necessary in view of the heating of the inductor winding.
