Description

Bei den bekannten Bindemähern ist der Bindearm unten mittels eines Tragrohres auf Rollen gelagert und oben mit einem zwischen Elevatorkopf und Bindearm angeordneten Lenker gehalten. Beim Verschieben des Bindearmes in Fahrtrichtung der Maschine zum Einstellen der Bindestelle bewirkt hierbei der Lenker ein Schwenken des Bindearmes um das untere Tragrofir. Dieses Schwenken führt zu Klemmungen im Antrieb des Bindearmes. Außer anderen Nachteilen wird auch noch die Stellung der Bindenadel zum Bindetisch geändert. Alle diese Nachteile vermeidet die Erfindung dadurch, daß der Bindearm mit dem Bindetisch mittels einer Absteifung, z. B. einer Strebe, starr verbunden ist und der Bindetisch an seinem oberen Rande mit Rollen und einer Laufschiene parallel zu dem Tragrohr des Bindearmes geführt ist.
Es ist zwar an sich bei Bindemähern bekannt, den Lagerrahmen für den Bindearm gegenüber der Maschine durch Rollenabstützung parallel zu führen. Aber abgesehen davon, daß bei der bekannten Bauart die Rollen mit parallelen Achsen angeordnet sind, während bei dem durch die Erfindung geschaffenen Aufbau die Rollen senkrecht zur Druckrichtung liegende Achsen haben, um eine Reibung an den Rollenrändern zu vermeiden, fehlt bei der bekannten Bauart die gemäß der Erfindung vorgesehene starre Verbindung zwischen Bindearm und Bindetisch durch eine Absteifung, die für die Parallelführung des Bindearmes von besonderem Vorteil ist.
