Bei Typenrädern mit schwalbenschwanzförmiger Nuth herrscht der Uebelstand, dafs die durch einen Ausschnitt des Randes eingeführten Typen auf dem Umfang der Scheibe bis an ,die für sie bestimmte Stelle herumgeführt werden müssen. Noch umständlicher ist der Austausch eines fehlerhaften Buchstabens nach Vollendung des Satzes, weil in solchem Falle alle vorherstehenden Buchstaben entfernt werden müssen.
