Die durch Zeichnung veranschaulichte und nachstehend beschriebene Erfindung betrifft Mailions für Webschäfte, die sich von den bisherigen Constructionen wesentlich unterscheiden; denn jetzt .verschleifst der Litzenzwirn dort, wo er festsitzt, zu früh, und zwar dadurch, dafs sich beim Weben, bezw. in gespanntem Zustande der Kette, die Maillons etwas wenden, so dafs sich beim Heben und Senken der Schäfte die Kettenfäden dort an den festen Punkten, wo der Litzenzwirn über das Mailion vorsteht, stofsen bezw. reiben.The invention illustrated by drawings and described below relates to Mailions for heald frames, which differ significantly from previous constructions; because now the stranded thread is dragging away where it is stuck too early, namely by the fact that when weaving, resp. in the tensioned state of the chain, the maillons turn a little so that when the shafts are raised and lowered, the warp threads are applied there the fixed points where the stranded wire protrudes over the mailion, stofsen resp. rub.
