Es ist daher ,günstiger, den mittleren Ring aufzuteilen und in bekannter Weise die beiden Teile durch ein Gelenk zu verbinden oder, wie ebenfalls bekannt ist, das Gelenk durch einen dünnen Steg zu ersetzen. Das bedeutet aber, daß sie trotz der doppelten Verformung der Ringe ihre Lage im wesentlichen beibehalten haben. Da sich die Gegenringe b, ä' nur um das Maß der Erwärmung erweitert haben, dieses aber auch beim umlaufenden Ring gleich groß ist, so ist der Ringspalts bzw. s' praktisch unverändert geblieben.
