Die Erfindung beschränkt sich nicht auf eine Trommelwaschmaschine , sondern kann auch bei Trocknern bzw. ¥aschtrccknem oder ähnlichen Geräten Anwendung finden. In den Fig. 1 bis 3 ist die Trommelwaschmaschine mit 1 bezeichnet. Die Trommel 2 ist in den Trommellagern 3 u. 3' gelagert. Die Trommellager 3 u. 3¹ bestehen aus dem Lagergehäuse 4 und dem Lagerflansch 5, der mit dem Seitenlager 6 verschraubt ist. Sie spannen die Laugenbehälterwand 7 und den Dichtrippenkranz 9 der Flanschabdeckung 8 ein. Die Abdichtung zv/ischen Trommelwelle 10 einerseits, der .Flanschabdeckung 8 und des Lagerflansches 5 andererseits, übernimmt eine Radialdichtung 11. Sie verhindert den Zutritt der Waschflotte zum Wälzlager 12 und Lagergehäuse 4. Durch Einpressen der Radialdichtung 11 in die Bohrung der Flanschabdeckung 8, wird ein Laugenaustritt verhindert.
