Description

Process for the rubber lining of pit drainage pipes for drainage of the overburden in lignite mining, filter pipes are used, which carry the 'water hand in the routes below. These metal pipes are used by the chemical Components in the water are destroyed relatively quickly. Since the sufficient Drainage of the mountains the pipes have to remain in the ground for several years and on the other hand, the reuse of the drawn tubes is desirable Paint and asphalt coatings or the like on the pipes to protect them against corrosion. However, these protective coatings have proven to be insufficient.

The invention relates to a new method of protecting surfaces for dewatering pipes and consists in the use of an approximately z5% rubber solution in high-boiling solvents; -as it eats proposed in German patent specification 577 803 , with which the pipes are coated in the cold painting process. The use of rubber solutions for the production of protective coatings on metallic objects is known per se. This is based on suitable solutions of rubber, usually mixed with fillers and accelerators, e.g. B. in tar oil or petroleum distillates, the solutions being applied to a metallic object heated before or during the application @. This method is out of the question for pit drainage pipes because they should be treated on the spot, i.e. if possible without additional facilities, such as B. Devices for heating the metallic object .. Of the processes which work with rubber solutions in volatile solvents, it is known that these are precisely not suitable for pipe technology because bubbles are too easily formed. In any case, pit drainage pipes seemed to pose a threat to the life of the filter pipe openings. According to the invention it has now been shown that this does not occur. The use of rubber sheets, which are vulcanized onto the object to be protected, and the use of rubber in well construction, as a building material for filter pipes, is also known. ih connection with metallic inlayeaa.

While the latter manufacturing process is relatively costly are and bigger Require amounts of rubber, enables the invention Procedure for the rubber lining of filter pipes in the important special field of pit drainage with simple means in such a way that the filter tubes without special equipment if necessary at the point of use itself, such as B. when reusing the drawn Tubes that can be rubberized. Without clogging the filter by simply spreading it on A protective surface coating is obtained from the rubber solution, which is then carried out Try the service life of the pipes compared to the surface protection agents used so far could be improved by around double.
