Bei diesem Rückstauventil für Siel- und Abflufsleitungen besteht das Eigenthümliche darin, dafs zum Abschlufs der Sielleitung gegen Stauwasser eine um einen Zapfen drehbare, mittels eines Dichtungsringes gegen eine Verengung des Sielrohres anliegende Klappe verwendet wird, welche aus leichtem Material, z.B. Hartgummi, hergestellt und mit einem inneren Hohlraum versehen ist, welcher bewirkt, dafs durch das abfliefsende Wasser die Klappe einen Auftrieb bekommt, sich infolge dessen leicht öffnen kann -und dem Wasser leichten Durchgang ermöglicht.
