Abstract
The multiple electrode particle detector has an upper flexible electrode (6) facing a second electrode (8). The electrodes are at different electrical voltages. The electrodes are maintained spaced from each other by electrically isolating spacers. The spacers (30) are individual sections placed at regular points in space between the two electrodes.
