gewonnenen Salzes stark herabgesetzt.
Process for the extraction of manganese sulphate from @manganese-containing iron ores,
Slag o. The like. It is known by the implementation of manganese-containing substances, such as
Ores and slags to make a solution of manganese salt with iron sulfate. It
however, it is not possible to obtain this manganese salt in pure form, since it passes through
a large amount of iron is contaminated. This naturally increases the value of the
obtained salt is greatly reduced. In addition, this method has regard to
the economic efficiency and the operational implementation many shortcomings. the
Iron sulphate liquors required for the implementation are generally not required in companies,
who have nothing to do with ore smelting or the manufacture of chemical products
have to do. It is therefore necessary to use large amounts of iron sulphate liquor to carry it out
transport to processing plants, where the conversion is carried out with the low-manganese ore
will. Because at temperatures below 25o °, at which the known method is carried out
is, the reactions are very sluggish, must be to achieve a sufficient implementation
the manganese iron ore is subjected to a fine grinding beforehand.
jedoch
können auch andere Ofen benutzt werden. The present invention overcomes these deficiencies. she
consists in that the manganese-containing ore (e.g. geer ore with about 30% iron
and about 20 o / o manganese) mixed with solid ferrous sulfate and then the mixture of a
Subjected to annealing treatment at 600 to goo °, where the ferrous sulfate is already decomposing,
the manganese sulfate, on the other hand, is resistant. The chemical conversion makes the

the ore with the solid ferrous sulphate is expediently carried out in a rotary drum furnace,

other ovens can also be used.
gelingt, eine praktisch vollständige Trennung von Eisen und Mangan zu erhalten;
denn falls gewisse.
In a large-scale experiment at a Gl temperature of 75 ° a
Manganese yield d @ ore of 85% achieved. This as opposed to! the previously known
Procedure large bulge proves that it is actually after the procedure of etfindung
succeeds in obtaining a practically complete separation of iron and manganese;
because if certain amounts of iron sulfate should not take part in the reaction,
they are decomposed to insoluble iron oxides above 600 °. The drained
Manganese sulphate therefore only contains traces of iron.
solcher Laugen in Flüsse verbieten. Man erhält also ohne besondere Maßnahmen das
The method offers the particular advantage that it can be carried out on the spot where the alkalis occur. In a plant where larger quantities of pickling waste are not used, iron sulphate is crystallized from these alkalis by processing plants because industrial police regulations prohibit the discharge of such alkalis into rivers. Is thus obtained, without special measures, the starting product for the method according to the invention in a concentrated form, thus saving unnecessary shipping costs, the SS sets in which rt Transf arise from Beizlaugen. Rdzno Uas ore can be turned into lumpy form because the sulfuric acid released during the roasting process is sufficiently active at the high temperatures to bring about a complete reaction with the abandoned lumpy ore. A piece of ore that can be used directly for smelting in the blast furnace is also obtained as the residue.
