Abstract
The nozzle consists of a body (9) with an axial through channel (10) and an outlet at one end, connected hydraulically at the other end to a feed circuit. The through channel is of constant cross-section for part of its length and then tapers towards the tip, forming an ogival chamber (17), and the outlet is in the form of a V-slit with its edges (18) inclined slightly relative to one another and located symmetrically in relation to the nozzle's axis. The two sides of the V-slit form an angle of about 45 degrees to one another, and the two edges (18) are inclined relative to a radial plane at an angle of some 15 degrees and converge towards the nozzle's distal end. <IMAGE>
