Description
Bei dem im Hauptpatent beschriebenen Lösungsweg werden zur Erzeugung des Gleitweges zwei verschiedenartige Strahlungsk ennlim.en von an zwei verschiedenen Orten aufgestellten Sendern, und zavar eines auf langer und eines auf ultrakurzer Welle arbeitenden Senders, zum Schnitt gebracht: Bei Versuchen zu diesem Verfahren stellte es sich jedoch heraus, daß die Zunahme der Feldstärke des Langwellensenders nicht immer genau dem theoretisch geforderten Verlauf entspricht, welcher durch gegeben ist, wenn x die jeweilige Entfernung des Flugzeuges von UKW-Sender und d der Abstand der Sender ist. Diese Unregelmäßigkeiten rühren von Verschiedenheiten des Reflexionsvermögens des beim Anflug überflogenen Geländes her. Die Folge davon ist, daß der Gleitweg nicht immer die geforderte Geradlinigkeit aufweist, sondern in unerwünschter Weise geweilt ist. Um diese Schwankungen im Mittel auszugleichen, wird gemäß dem vorliegenden Zusatzpatent eine Anordnung vorgesehen, die statt eines Langwellensenders a (vgl. die Abbildung) deren zwei oder drei (b, c) benutzt. Die lange Welle breitet sich dann gleichzeitig über die Wege r, a und 3 aus, und es wird hierdurch im Mittel ein Ausgleich der unregelmäßigen Langwellenausbreitung erreicht, so daß die Feldstärke jetzt angenähert tatsächlich mit zunimmt und der Gleitweg geradlinig geworden ist.
