Die auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellte Arbeitsschaufel hat den Zweck, dem Arbeiter ein nach seiner Körperbeschaffenheit undArbeits-· gewohnheit regulirbares Geräth zu liefern, mit welchem er im Stande ist, selbst bei vermindertem Kräfteaufwand, ein gröfseres Quantum Arbeit leisten zu können, als mit der seitherigen Arbeitsschaufel mit dem krummen Holzstiel. Diese gröfsere Leistungsfähigkeit wird nicht nur dadurch erreicht, dafs das neue Geräth leichter und handlicher wird als das seitherige, sondern hauptsächlich durch die Einrichtung, dafs der Stiel zum Schaufelblatt verstellbar ist, wodurch es jedem Arbeiter ermöglicht wird, seine Schaufel genau so reguliren zu können, wie es seine körperlichen Verhältnisse und seine Arbeitsgewohnheit erfordern.
