Nach vorliegender Erfindung erfolgt das Mafsnehmen am Körper in der Weise, dafs die für das Zuschneiden eines Kleidungsstückes erforderlichen Mafse mittelst einer Schablone auf einmal am Körper genommen und eingestellt werden, worauf besagte Vorrichtung auf eine Fläche gelegt und mit einem Farbstifte an ihrem Umfang umfahren ein genaues Flächenmuster des betreffenden Körpertheiles ergiebt. Die Aufnahme der Mafse und Form eines bestimmten Körpertheils geschieht, indem man zunächst die Klemmschraube 5 so weit löst, dafs eine Verschiebung der Diagonalen in ihren Schlitzen ermöglicht ist. Hierauf legt man die Schablone an den betreffenden Körpertheil und verschiebt unter Auflage der Gelenke auf im Voraus bestimmte Punkte desselben die Bandtheile α nach Erfordernifs. Die erhabenen Theile des Körpers werden hierbei ein Auseinanderschieben, die hohlen Theile desselben dagegen ein Ineinanderschieben der Bandtheile veranlassen. Ist die Schablone richtig eingestellt, so wird sie durch Zurückdrehen der Klemmschraube s festgestellt, vom Körper abgehoben und ihr Umrifs auf einer Fläche abgezeichnet.
