Auf einer Platte α ist eine zweite Platte b schräg gestellt, welche einen vorstehenden Rahmen c trägt, der unten geschlossen ist. In diesem Rahmen sind eine Anzahl Stifte η η in passenden Abständen angebracht, hinter denen Figuren m m aufgestellt sind. Zwei Kugeln, .von denen die untere gröfser und glatt, die obere kleiner und rauh bezw. mit Stoff oder Gummi überzogen ist, sind durch ein Zwischenstück verbunden. Diese Doppelkugel k wird von χ aus gegen die Stifte η auf der schiefen Ebene seitlich zur Schräge in Bewegung gesetzt. Dadurch, dafs die Kugeln verschiedene Durchmesser haben oder bei gleichem Durchmesser aus verschieden adhäsionsfähigem Material hergestellt sind, kommt die Kugel k beim Anlaufen der Stifte bezw. des Rahmens stets schräg zu stehen und erhält so einen neuen Impuls zum Rücklauf nach der anderen Seite, wobei sie gleichzeitig eine Bewegung nach dem unteren Ende der schiefen Ebene macht, dabei mehr oder weniger Stifte berührt und die hinter diesen Stiften stehenden Figuren m umwirft.
