Galvanic coupling of a single tube stage with a push-pull tube stage
If you use a push-pull circuit for the amplifier output in DC amplifiers
wants to pass over, you can use an auxiliary tube, with the after the previously
known circuits the sign for the modulation for the one push-pull stage
is reversed. Furthermore, there is already a circuit in which, the anode resistance
to achieve the push-pull circuit is divided into two halves, known. These
However, the circuit is limited to transformer coupling of the input of the
Preamp and on capacitive coupling of the output stage. So it cannot be galvanic
Coupling can be used. The transformer coupling of the input is there
necessary because the cathode of the pre-tube is not fixed in its potential. the
Coupling capacitors to the output stage can only be done using two counter-voltage batteries
be replaced. Both disadvantages are avoided in that the galvanic coupling
a single tube stage with a push-pull tube stage in which the anode resistance
the pre-tube is divided into two halves, is designed according to the invention in such a way that
that the anode voltage of the Vorröhte is also divided by between the
both halves of the anode resistance such a part of the anode voltage of the pre-tube
is switched on that the grid of the push-pull tubes against their cathodes, which with
are connected to one point of this partial anode voltage, without additional auxiliary voltages
are negatively biased.
besonderer Gegenspannungen. Außerdem ist hier auch der Anodenwiderstand aufgeteilt
in zwei voneinander unabhängige Teile it und o.
Die Aussteuerung verläuft also
bedingungsgem.iß gegensüinig.According to the figure, the anode voltage for the amplifier tube I is divided into two parts: Eal and Ea2. Even in the simple direct current coupling, this division of the anode voltage offers the advantage that the correct bias voltage is achieved for the grid of the following stage without the use of special counter voltages. In addition, the anode resistance is divided into two independent parts it and o. The voltage fluctuations of the modulation are distributed between these two resistors, and they can be fed to the grid of the amplifier tubes 1 I a and II b in a circuit like them can be seen from the figure. The cathodes of the two tubes II a and II b are connected to such a point of Eal that the DC voltage drop in the anode resistors together with the portion of Eal results in the correct bias voltage for each grid. It will be explained by a numerical example. The cathode of tube I and thus the grid of tube II b have the potential O. Due to the voltage drop at o, a potential of z. B. - 4.o volts. Between p and q there should now be 60 volts of Eal, so that q and the cathodes of tube 1I are at 20 volts. The grid of the tube II b then has a bias voltage of -2o volts. Between q and r there is 2o volts of Eal, so that ;, ; stands at --- qo volts. There is also a voltage drop of - [0] volts across the anode resistor it, so that s has the potential 0. Since q is at + 2o volts, the grid of II a also has the necessary bias voltage of - 20 volts. The necessary positive potential for the anode of the tube 1 is supplied by Ea. #. If a modulation now takes place in the sense that the anode current of the tube I increases, so that the voltage drops = at n and o are greater, to 50 volts each, the grid of II b would only have a negative voltage of to volts against q have, while that of Na receives negative preconditioning of 30 volts. The modulation therefore runs contrary to the conditions.
