Device for testing meters or power meters according to the
Uniform load calibration procedure In the case of the well-known, according to the uniform load calibration method. working
Meter test equipment is disadvantageous in that voltage fluctuations

Arrange inductive controllers or controller resistors to compensate for the fluctuations.
But also when the current in the current path and the voltage in the voltage path on
be kept constant in this way, there is no guarantee that the angle
is kept constant between current vector and voltage vector.
aufweist.According to the invention, the disadvantages of these known test devices

Located on the test voltage source ii. in series, an iron hydrogen lamp 12 and the primary windings of two current transformers 13 and 14. The secondary winding of the current transformer 3 1 is provided with a number of taps, which are guided on corresponding contacts sixteenth The taps of the primary winding are connected 1 8 of its precision current transformer ig to the correspondingly arranged contacts 1 7 whose secondary winding - the current path of the calibration instrument 2o feeds (or counter Wattmetier). The current path of the test object 21 is now connected to corresponding taps of the windings 18 and 15 via one of the contacts 16, 17, depending on the desired level of the test current. The two in the same-. tapped windings i 8 upd ': 15 can also be combined into a single tapped winding, which at the same time forms the secondary winding of the transformer 13 and the primary winding of the current transformer ig, as shown in FIG Patent 631 445 shown and described. is. The secondary winding 22 of the current transformer 14 feeds the voltage paths of the test item 21 and the calibration instrument 20. In parallel with it, depending on the position of the switch 23, there is an ohmic resistor 24 or a choke coil 25 with the ohmic resistor 26 one or the other position can be used to give the voltage lying on the saving paths different phase positions compared to the current in the current paths. Since the resistance of the iron hydrogen lamp 12 ensures a constant current in the primary windings of the two transformers 13 and 14 for the voltage range in question, the current and voltage in the test object and calibration instrument are automatically set to the target value and the angle between current and Voltage kept constant at the predetermined value without the need for cumbersome and expensive control equipment, an advantage that is particularly noticeable in portable test equipment, which often have to be connected to networks with strong voltage fluctuations.
