Bei Druckgasschaltern, insbesondere mitWith compressed gas switches, especially with
" Self-generation of the compressed gas" during the switching process, it is important to save as much compressed gas as possible so that the compressed gas generation device is as small and cheap as possible. It is therefore important to use all of the compressed gas to extinguish the arc and, if possible, to avoid leaks in the switch room, which cause compressed gas losses. Such losses occur in particular at those points where the drive linkage for the contact movement is moved through the walls of the switch room, because these passages cannot be sealed as well as it would be desirable because the switching speed is relatively high in such compressed gas switches and therefore the frictional resistance must be kept small.
The invention avoids this pressure gas losses in that the walls of the
Contacts carrying switching space are designed to be elastic that the switching movement
by changing the shape of elastic wall parts from the outside
Forces exerted on the walls takes place without the use of parts moving through the walls. This increases the economy
the operation of such switches is significantly increased.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
The figure shows schematically a pressure gas nozzle switch with the nozzle I 3 and the two contacts 3 and 4, of which the first © is connected to a switch blade 2, the latter to a current conductor 5. 6 is a pressurized gas storage space that holds the pressurized gas for. the arc quenching 'supplies and its passage opening to the nozzle 1 is closed by the contacts 3, 4 when the switch is closed. The room 6 can, for. B. be designed as a compression cylinder in which the pressure is generated by means of a piston 7. The switching knife 2 is placed from the outside against the movably arranged contact 3 in an oval passage cross-section after the nozzle. One wall of the nozzle is completely closed and yet resilient, so that the switch blade 2 presses the contact 3 against the fixed contact 4 when it is switched on. When switching off, after removing the switch blade, the contact 3 is moved away from the contact 4 by the compressed gas or by special springs or by both. The compressed gas then flows from the space 6 to the nozzle ι, extinguishes the interrupting arc drawn between the contacts 3 and 4 and isolates the switching path from. The switch blade 2 can be moved away from the contact 3 either downwards or in a pivoting movement. The interruption takes place first at the cutting knife and then in the nozzle. The power supply to the cutting knife 2 is not shown.
