Damit ein so hergestellter Bogenlichtstab der mehr oder weniger rauhen Behandlung, welcher er unterworfen wird, zu widerstehen vermöge, wird mit dem Graphit eine genügende Menge von fein zertheilter Faser, z. B. Holzfaser, vermengt und dadurch dem Stab die gewünschte Widerstandsfähigkeit ertheilt.
